Xinwen Zhang is a Chinese photographer, the project ‘ Five Nights, Aquarium ‘ about her personal experiences and memories. She writes 5 five sections to isolate a series of photos, which separately bring different meanings of these photos. I really like this expressive form, because the photographer intentionally put the third meaning on these photographs. For the text part, these vivid texts are poetic and mystery while they introduce some backgrounds to these photos. For the photography part, They are very ambiguous. Firstly, they have ambiguous boundaries between each section. Secondly, these photos have multiple styles, such as documentary, surrealism and portrait. Xinwen Zhang cleverly mixes all of the elements together.
